BIONOVA – BIC Junior

BioNova’s BioInnovation Challenge Junior (BIC Junior) inspires Nova Scotia’s high school and first year post-secondary students to create a business idea for the Health and Life Sciences sector that has real commercialization potential. With the support and guidance of BioNova and Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia (JA Nova Scotia), students are given the knowledge and skills necessary to create their business idea and pitch it to a panel of judges during BioPort. For many participants, this will be greatly influential to mapping out their future career.

Business Advisory Services Program – Agriculture

The Business Advisory Services Program aims to enhance Nova Scotia farms and agri-businesses ability to be more competitive, manage transition, develop risk management strategies and respond to change. The business advisory services offered under this program will enable the agriculture sector to be proactive in business development decisions.

Cape Breton Partnership – Safety First

The Safety First Network will demonstrate Leadership by providing safe work environments for employees, distributing online newsletters to share with industry about safety related topics, highlight the work of the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education and the Workers Compensation Board of Nova Scotia and showcase the safety champions in the Cape Breton region.
