Canadian feature films with a budget of less than or equal to $2.5M that received production assistance from Telefilm Canada and that are now market-ready are eligible. Financial support to cover costs relating to the promotional campaign for the theatrical release of the qualified productions (e.g., creation of a new trailer, advertising and marketing costs, airfare, subtitling, etc). The combined maximum assistance per eligible project is $90,000. Note: Program open until funds have been exhausted on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

Tourism Nova Scotia – Digital Content Marketing Program
Tourism Nova Scotia offers the Digital Content Marketing Program to Nova Scotia tourism businesses and organizations with an opportunity to partner with Tourism Nova Scotia to create marketing assets and to promote their products and/or services in Ontario, Quebec and Northeastern United States, using digital marketing tactics. TNS will work with selected partners to develop mutually-beneficial objectives and implement a tailored digital marketing campaign that will best deliver on the established objectives. Tactics may include social media advertising, search engine marketing, and display and video advertising including the use of the TNS remarketing lists. The minimum partner investment for digital marketing is $5,000 plus a 15% media buying fee (total $5,750), and Tourism Nova Scotia will match partner investments.

The Aboriginal Business Financing Program is administered by Ulnooweg and offers non-repayable business contributions to individual Aboriginal entrepreneurs and community owned businesses. Eligible applicants are individuals of Canadian Aboriginal status or non-status, Metis or Inuit Heritage (on or off reserve), living and operating their businesses within the Atlantic provinces. Aboriginal business and financial organizations, as well as development corporations are also eligible for contributions. Some of the eligible expenses for ABDP support are:

Perennia’s viticulturist, Francisco Diez, works directly with wineries to help them with their development goals, as the linkages between the vineyards and the wineries is really key to the overall industry’s success.
